Fravashi International Academy is elated to bring inspirational journeys of its treasured alumni in a special series, ‘Alumni Talks’.

Ms. Maanya Bajaj from A-Level 2022 batch, shares how her life at school has inspired her journey.

Fravashi International Academy organised, 'Tour d'aventure',

a one-of-a-kind session for students of grades I and II with a goal to inculcate team building and collaborative peer learning.

The young learners worked together to complete tasks and play competitive team games. Constructive sports, painting, hopscotch, dumb charades, find your partner were some of the activities conducted along with dance, music, bonfire, movie time and tug of war.

The students participated with zeal, completed each task by actively co-ordinating with each other and relished delicious food as the celebrations concluded with unforgettable memories.

Academy, along with students, Mst. Shivshankar Sarkar ( A 2021 Batch), Mst. Archit Shinde ( A 2021 Batch), Mst. Shauryan Kandi ( IGCSE 2019 Batch) and Ms. Revti Gaikwad (A 2024 Batch), planned and executed a science project titled, 'Study of Physico- chemical Parameters of Various Water Samples'.

The Fravashi family takes extreme pride in announcing that the results of this project are published as a research paper in the illustrious journal – International Journal of Novel Research and Development’, Volume 8 – January 2023.

While working on this project, the students learned about the various water quality parameters, understood the methodologies used in treating them and also the removal of turbidity using charcoal.

This project gave immense exposure to the students in terms of the research methodologies, method of collecting samples, method of analyzing water in a laboratory, and the skill of writing a research paper.

The Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Unity leagues organised and executed

by the students of Fravashi International Academy came to a splendid end with all the teams taking home apportions of accolades and laurels. The novel feat of leagues - the 5 day sports event fashioned in the IPL modus operandi, officially flagged off in June with the auctions where each team got to decide their player and the bid.

The students worked relentlessly for creating a new logo for each of the six teams. In an open to all students, logo-making challenge, Ms. Sanjana Shewale, IGCSE student of Art & Design won the competition and recreated magic with her perfect logos which adorned the new jerseys of all the teams.

On Thursday 17th December, at the stunning opening ceremony, Mr. Bhushan Thakur and Mrs. Aarti Thakur, both national-level tennis players and proprietors of Sports Champ magazine, marked the beginning of the 5 day event in the presence of the students, teachers, the Managing Trustee of Fravashi schools - Ms. Meghna Bakshi and the Director Academics, FIA - Ms. Manju Surendran. The honour and defeat, the laurels and heartburns, valour and vigour, tested in multitudes in the emotional roller coaster making a straight drive on Wednesday, 21st December 2022 with a grand closing ceremony.

The matches extended to various categories from Aqua sports to team games and Athletics. Team Energetics pocketed the Cricket trophy and Barcudas bagged the Football trophy. The athletic event wins were shared by all the teams. The stars of the 5 day haul were Mst. Azaan Kokni - Best Batsman, Mst. Neel Dixit - Best Bowler, Mst. Shamikh Khatib - Top scorer in Football, Mst.Hardayal Bajwa and Mst.Siddharth Khona - best Goalkeepers.

Mst. Abheram Kandeth was given the Best Playmaker award with many other appreciations. The closing ceremony was presided over by Mr. Sameer Bhujbal and Dr. Shefali Bhujbal who congratulated and appreciated the efforts of the FIA family for instilling virtues of sportsmanship and physical agility in the students.
